Information on mental illness has also attracted significant attention. To help caregivers gain a multifaceted understanding of mental illness, this online discussion platform has invited Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a specialist in psychiatry as our guest speaker. 【Carer Coordinator Training 2024】   Have you ever thought that your experience as a carer could help you serve as a "companion" for others? We cordially invite all caregivers to participate in the "Care Coordinator Training 2024", where you can transform your carering experience into companionship for other caregivers, supporting each other and impacting lives.   Training in this year incorporates feedback from previous participants. In addition to communication, emotional support, and risk assessment provided by interdisciplinary professionals, the training now includes common elderly diseases and mental health issues. 【Instructor Training of Wellness Course for peer support carer 2024】   Whenever "take care of yourself before taking care of others" is mentioned, most carers find it easier said than done.   However, have you ever thought that small daily actions could lead to significant changes for you?   CARE College, in collaboration with Hong Kong Holistic Popular Mental Health Association, is hosting 'Instructor Training of Wellness Course for peer support carer 2024'. Based on faith, this course approaches carers through the lens of the Bible, starting with 8 major areas of life. Participants will reassess the conditions of these areas, discover personal strengths, and develop action goals and plans to improve their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
