"520 Care-hood Micro Expo"

The "2023 CAREER Awareness Day" event was successfully organized by BOKSS on May 19th and 20th at the Hong Kong Science Park.

On May 20th, we successfully organized the "520 Care-hood Micro Expo" in collaboration with nine NGOs from the CAREREPS Platform, with an impressive turnout of over 2,000 participants. Thanks to the generous support of the SIE Fund and our esteemed partners, we were able to showcase a total of 30 booths that highlighted a range of caregiver-related services to the general public. In addition to our comprehensive suite of services, we facilitated various engaging initiatives, including carer experience sessions, human library events, expressive arts therapy workshops, etc.

We had invited Ms. Wendy Fung, District Social Welfare Officer (Sha Tin), Social Welfare Department, as the officiating guest, along with Ms. May Fung, District Social Welfare Officer (Tai Po & North District), Social Welfare Department, Mr. Tik Chi Yuen, SBS, BBS, JP, legislative council member, Ms. Angie Chan, Chief Officer, Family & Community, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Ms. Kathy Kwan, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, and the representatives of the CAREREPS Platform, to participate in the opening ceremony with their presence.
