【Carer Online Discussion Forum (Aug 2022)】Understanding Elderly Depression — How to communicate and get along with them

For this online discussion forum, we have invited a family doctor with Postgraduate Diploma in Community Psychological Medicine and a registered social worker to do a sharing with us on how to deal with elderly depression as a carer. The sharing will include:

1. Causes of depression
2. How to recognize elderly with depression symptoms
3. How medicine could help with depression and potential side-effects
4. Communication skills & how to get along with elderly with depression
5. Relevant public resources

Carers of elderlies with depression & public who are interested to this topic are welcome to join this event.
