Carer Peer Support Training (Course Two)

Carers will face a lot of rise & fall in their caring journey. Carers can enhance their self-understanding & their power on caring with these experience. Some Carers may even share their caring stories and interact with others, to enrich their caring life by being a Carer Peer.
Course Content:
Module 1:Programme's objective (5th January, 2023)-Carers' Role, Concept of Peer Support & Recovery
Module 2:Understanding Yourself & Others (9th & 16th January, 2023)

Module 3:Community Resources (6th February, 2023)-Carers' resources and supporting services
Module 4:The Human Library Workshop (18th February, 2023)-Skills for The Human Library and Narrative Therapy

"Identify & Support Carers" professional training course
Frontline workers have a significant role in identifing & supporting carers, and the needs & challenges of carers are very diversed.
This course will introduce the needs of different carers, and aims to increase the communication skills of workers, help them to identify, support and establish relations with carers. We hope the workers can provide a more comprehensive service to carers after this course.

Instructor Training of Wellness Course for peer support carer

This training will go through 8 aspects with carers to develop their personal strength & personal wellness. Except learning how to take good care of themselves from different aspects, this training will also guide the participants how to be an instructor to increase carers’ health awareness and take a leap to be all-round healthy.
